Ingredients

50 ml bourbon
50 ml Dubonnet Red
15 ml Cointreau
1 dash aromatic bitters

Directions

Add ice to a mixing jug.

Add al ingredients to the mixing jug and gently stir.

Strain into a chilled cocktail coup glass.

Bourbon Ball

A dessert cocktail for bourbon lovers.

Ingredients

2 oz bourbon
1 oz white creme de cacao
¼ oz hazelnut liqueur

Directions

Add all ingredients to a cocktail shaker.

Add ice to the shaker and shake until well chilled.

Strain into a cocktail glass.

Kentucky Mule

The Kentucky Mule is a variation of a Moscow Mule using bourbon instead of vodka; the stronger taste of the bourbon cuts through the taste of the ginger beer more aggressively than the vodka of the original, resulting in a more flavourful drink.

Ingredients

2 pt Bourbon
½ pt Freshly squeezed lime juice
5 pt Ginger beer

Directions

Fill a copper mug or high ball glass with ice.

Add the 2 parts bourbon and ½ part lime juice.

Top off with the ginger beer.

Melon Splash

A melon splash is a light melon-flavoured cocktail, refreshing enough for a summer day and green enough for St Patrick’s Day.

Ingredients

35 ml Bourbon
25 ml Midori melon liqueur
75 ml Lemon and lime pop

Directions

Place three ice cubes in a tumbler.

Add bourbon and Midori melon liqueur and stir.

Top off with lemon and lime pop.
