Slippery Nipple

A Slippery Nipple is a layered shot with a saucy name. The combination of grenadine, sambuca and Irish cream goes down smoothly.

Slippery Nipples are meant to be consumed as a shot with the flavours combining in your mouth.

Ingredients

¼ pt Grenadine
½ pt Sambuca
½ pt Irish cream

Directions

Add the ¼ part grenadine to the shot glass; this is the “nipple” of the drink.

Layer the ½ part sambuca on top of the grenadine.

You can get the sambuca to layer by slowly pouring down the side of the glass, or holding a bar spoon upside down just over the grenadine and raise slowly as the glass fills.

Layer the ½ part Baileys on top of the sambuca using the same method as the previous step.

Irish Frog

Irish Frog is a layered shot which is both easy to make and easy to drink.

As this cocktail is a shooter, it works best when both liqueur are served chilled.

Ingredients

1 pt Midori Melon Liqueur
1 pt Irish Cream

Directions

Fill the glass halfway with Midori melon liqueur.

Use a bar spoon to float the Irish Cream on top of the Midori; floating can be done by holding the bar spoon upside down just above the surface of the Midori, slowly raising it as the glass fills.
