It's why Roe & Co Irish whiskey works well in cocktails, but not as a straight; it has a strong taste to survive in cocktails.

You can always vary as you want, but this is good with equal measures.

Bourbon is a good mixer; being quite strong of taste, it can add to a cocktail whereas a Scotch would get lost.
