Rum Runner

The Rum Runner was first concocted in 1972 by John Ebert at the Tiki Bar of the Holiday Isle Resort, on the island of Islamorada in the Florida Keys.

Ingredients

1 oz light rum
1 oz dark rum
1 oz banana liqueur
½ oz blackberry liqueur
1 oz pineapple juice
1 splash grendine

Directions

Add all ingredients to an ice-filled cocktail shaker and shake until chilled.

Strain into a tall glass, like a hurricane glass, over ice.

Jumpin’ Black Jack

Am easy to drink “stealth cocktail” which slips down easily despite being all alcohol.

Ingredients

2 oz Jack Daniel’s Old No. 7 Tennessee Whiskey
2 oz Blackberry Liqueur

Directions

Add ice to a small glass.

Pour 2 oz of both ingredients into the glass.
